Help St. Vincent and the Grenadines

The La Soufrière volcano on St Vincent and the Grenadines erupted explosively on Friday April 9th, 2021 and continued to erupt for two weeks, with the last eruption occurring on April 22, 2021. As of May 6, 2021 the volcano alert level is now ORANGE, however seismic activity can escalate at any moment without further warning.

From April 10 to June 7, 2021 Hairouna Film Festival in collaboration with SV2G and Mas Tropicale, supported the local grassroots volunteer response through the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Disaster Relief Fund. Though the SVG DRF is no longer accepting donations, the money raised will be going directly to trusted volunteers in SVG who are getting supplies to where they are most needed.

The deadline for the 2021 Hairouna Film Lab has been extended until further notice in light of the ongoing eruption of La Soufrière volcano.
