Introduction
Welcome to the 2nd edition of the Hairouna Film Fellowship, a talent discovery and development program aimed at fiction writers and/or writer/directors from St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The objective of this initiative is to support fiction/ narrative / non-documentary film-making in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We are thrilled that you are here!
This initiative provides script-writing mentorship and development for two short-listed scripts, and offers one winning script funding and production support.
This call for submissions is open to all eligible Vincentians at any level of film-making experience, whether you are making your 1st or your 7th short film, you are welcome to apply with first time film makers being especially encouraged to apply.

Eligibility Requirements
Before applying please note the following eligibility requirements.
Applicants must:
- Be a Vincentian citizen either by birth, naturalisation or residency status.
- Have a completed short fiction film script, not exceeding 20 – 23 pages in length.
- Be over the age of 18 years old.
- In the case of being accepted, applicants must be fully committed to working extensively between the periods of April and October 2025 and applying themselves fully to the challenging work of making a good short film.
- Have written a short film that can be filmed in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and/or relates to an aspect of Vincentian people, culture, history, heritage or takes place in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
