What is HFF?

Hairouna Film Festival (HFF) is the first festival of its kind in St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). We are an equal opportunities social impact project whose mission is to engage, revitalize and celebrate Caribbean culture by curating the most innovative and compelling Caribbean films, and creating remarkable festival experiences. We seek to build and strengthen the Vincentian film industry through workshops, scriptwriting competitions and by connecting filmmakers with mentorship opportunities.

The Festival itself is a week-long showcase of up to forty multi-genre films from SVG, the Caribbean and its diaspora, hosting events, screenings, workshops and panel discussions. Additionally, the festival co-presents other programs, such as Caribbean Voices at Demakijaż Film Festival in Poland, throughout the year.

The 2022 Festival is expected to be hosted in March 2022.
